Ya estamos en septiembre, a escasos 4 meses de que empiece a rodar el nuevo programa marco de la Unión Europea, Horizonte 2020, y los gestores de proyectos debemos irnos familiarizando con las nuevas plataformas a través de las cuáles se gestionarán las solicitudes y los proyectos europeos activos.
Esta semana ha llegado esta información proporcionada por el Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico e Industrial (CDTI) sobre un webinar que tendrás lugar el 9 de septiembre de 2013, de 14:00 a 17:00 horas, sobre las novedades que habrá en Horizonte 2020 en el Participant Portal:
The Participant Portal, the central web platform for the EC research and innovation funding, is improving its user-friendliness and functions for H2020. This webinar will highlight its main features.
All the grant-related online exchanges of EC research and innovation funding are managed on the Participant Portal. To make the system as user-friendly as possible and to prepare it for Horizon 2020, the Commission seeks continuous advice from the actual users. A next meeting of an external user group is planned for 9 September 2013 afternoon in Brussels. To allow maximum participation and input from a wide audience, this meeting will be webcast with a live stream. Additionally, a web forum will be used where any interested party can post questions and comments, either directly during the meeting or afterwards.
The video link for the live stream will be available on the web forum on the day of the meeting. Please note that the video link will only start working on September 9 at 14.00 Brussels time (GMT+1). It will allow you to watch the meeting in real time. The recording of the meeting will be available shortly after the meeting at the same address. At this meeting, the improved version of the Participant Portal for Horizon 2020, approach for completely paperless management of Horizon 2020 grants, new online functions for appointment and payment of experts and improvements to the system of registering organisations will be discussed.
