European IPR Helpdesk: Annual Event with a focus on Trade Secrets

On October 19, 2017, the European IPR Helpdesk will hold its annual event in Brussels. This year, the main focus will be on trade secrets as valuable business assets for economic growth and European innovation potential.
Everybody interested in learning more on trade secrets and the European IPR Helpdesk is invited to join the event at Rue du Trône 98, Brussels on 19 October from 3.30 – 6.30 PM.

Jorge Novais, DG Grow European Commission, will be joining as a speaker giving some insight into the Commission’s perspective. The team of the European IPR Helpdesk will present their factsheet “Trade Secrets: An efficient tool for competitiveness”. Moreover, there will be time for networking, food and drinks.

As valuable business assets, trade secrets play an important role in economic growth and fostering innovation. The rise of the global information society has given a new boost to the role of trade secrets and has generated the demand for a uniform standard of protection across national boundaries.
